Good morning!

Thank you for allowing me to add you to my campaign newsletter and update you on all things Prairie Village, Johnson County, and my campaign.

As a recent Belinder parent, and a current IHMS parent, I know how important our local elections are and how hard it is to stay informed.

COMMUNICATION has always been important to me, especially during my time as a Belinder PTA parent, so I hope I can help get, or keep, you engaged in the issues effecting Prairie Village today and over the next four years.

INCLUSIVITY was a huge part of my work while on Belinder PTA. Making sure every parent or guardian felt welcome and encouraged to participate and volunteer and could also find a way to do so that fit their schedule and/or means was key. As a founding member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, awareness, education, and respect for every person at Belinder became a driving force behind every effort, program, and event.

COMMUNITY & SAFETY are two of the most important components of any school. Ample communication and inclusive polices form the foundation for a healthy and friendly community and a safe environment for our kids to learn and our families to live. Partnerships with our local businesses and Prairie Village neighbors are also necessary to encourage that safe community feel, and new programs we created during my time, like Brave Run 5K, helped us interact more, and in positive proactive ways, with those businesses and neighbors.

I AM running for Prairie Village City Council this Fall. I look forward to talking with you more and in person, and I hope to earn your vote for this November!
