Community Garden Spots Open in 2020

A limited number of spots are still available at Prairie Village’s community gardens.

  • Garden plots rent annually in January for the growing season that runs from April 1 through October 31.
  • Garden plots are 4’ by 20’ with 4’ walkways between plots.
  • Gardens are located at Harmon Park, north of the tennis courts adjacent to the pool parking lot, and at Global Montessori, 75th and Cherokee Streets.
  • Plots are $40.
  • The gardens are organic, and require use of organic methods and products.
  • Gardeners are encouraged to donate excess produce to one of the local food pantries.
