I’m excited to announce that I’ve been selected for the Spring cohort of the Johnson County Citizens’ Academy!
The purpose of the Academy is to:
- Enhance citizen knowledge of county operations and services
- Encourage a unified community identity and,
- Increase participation in Johnson County boards, advisory councils, and commissions.
“The Citizens Academy Program allows community-minded individuals to discover what makes the high quality of life possible in Johnson County through behind-the-scene tours, hands-on activities and conversations with county commissioners, the county manager and county staff.”
I’ll begin the 10-week program February 11th, and will be sharing even more information about services and opportunities in Johnson County as I learn more!
