Election, Early Voting, and Vote by Mail

Posted by Bonnie Limbird

Hi, Friends & Neighbors!

The upcoming local elections are super important. School board races, city council races, community college races, water board races, and many others that affect our community, right HERE in Prairie Village.

Regardless of what your party affiliation is at this time, I’m sharing some Candidate Guides to help you determine who the best candidates are in every race. I hope you’ll take a look and at least consider these folks.

Please make a plan to vote sometime between now and November 2nd!

  • Look up your ballot to see who is running in your city – HERE.
  • Identify the best candidates to vote for HERE and HERE.
  • Advance voting by mail begins Wednesday, October 13th – you can STILL request a ballot to vote by mail HERE.
  • Advance voting in person begins Saturday, October 23rd – advance voting locations and ballot drop boxes HERE.

If you’re interested in who I’m voting for, please check out my 10/18 Council Meeting recap HERE.
