I Officially Have a Challenger | Fundraising Friday

Posted by Bonnie Limbird

Hi, y’all! 😊

So, it’s official! I now have a challenger for my City Council seat for the 2023 election cycle.

I’d appreciate your vocal and loud support to help me win this election. 😁

  • If you’ve appreciated my prepared and reflective representation of you and our Ward 3 neighbors on Council, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.
  • If you’ve read my weekly emails with council meeting recaps, Johnson County tidbits, and “Did You Knows”, and found them helpful, informative, and/or engaging, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.
  • If we’ve interacted on a specific issue or concern of yours like sidewalks, stop signs, speeding traffic, permitting, etc. over the last 3 years, and you found me to be a good listener, responsive, and pro-active, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.
  • If you respected the thoughtful and caring discussions I had with fellow councilmembers and you regarding the tough issues we’ve had to tackle during my first term (mask mandate, lockdowns, etc.), please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.
  • If you understand that I always know in the back of my mind that I can’t make all of my constituents happy all of the time, but I will listen to all viewpoints and try to find the right balance before all votes, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.
  • And if you want to see what else I can do for Prairie Village as we tackle a possible community center, housing gaps, more improvements to walk- and bike-ability, and the arts, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election.

Your donation of $25, $50, $75, $100 or other (up to $500 max.) will help me raise the vital funds I need to make sure I can still represent Ward 3 on the council come January and continue working on the initiatives you sent me there to do.

Our goal is to raise $3,500 by Memorial Day, May 29th, and it will take many small donations to get there. Every amount counts and is appreciated!

Your contribution, made here on the website or via check made payable to “ Friends of Bonnie Limbird,” will give our campaign access to the tools we need to be successful.

Thank you all so much for your encouragement and generous support.

Sincerely yours,
